Updated OMAP4460 and OMAP4430 Technical Reference Manuals (TRMs)

NOTE: Links to current versions of the OMAP4430, OMAP4460 and OMAP4470 TRMs are now at "OMAP4470 TRM Download Available".

Texas Instruments has updated their public OMAP4460 Technical Reference Manual (TRM) to version I. Also, the OMAP4430 TRM is now at version R.

OMAP4430 and OMAP4460 TRM

Since these documents are really difficult to find on TI's website, I have created these download links to these publicly available OMAP technical reference manuals.

You can learn more about how TI uses Arteris interconnect IP in OMAP from our website.

Arteris' network-on-chip interconnect IP fabric is used as the main L3 interconnect within TI's OMAP 4 platforms. The L3 interconnect is the main "backbone" interconnect of the entire OMAP processor system on chip (SoC).

The OMAP4470 TRM is not available publicly yet, as far as I can tell. I will post a link as soon as it is released. Also, there are no OMAP 5 TRMs that are publicly released yet.

I agree 4460 TRM is difficult to find on TI website. Kurt's link may be broken, this one works for me: http://focus.ti.com/pdfs/wtbu/OMAP4460_ES1.x_PUBLIC_TRM_vI.zip

Manuel, thanks. I've been meaning to post the link. I'll create another post with all the updates. I also have some links to some of the OMAP 4 derivative chips (DaVinci and Sitara) family that I need to post. These are sometimes quite difficult to search for on TI's site.

Great! I'll also put them on my wiki, where I have already collected links to some of TI's datasheets and TRMs, and some cross references:
